These forums are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in Trinity Chapel. They are designed to share information on topics that affect life in our community and world. The forums are free and open to the public.

This program will offer a primer in Reformation history in relation to life in today’s world. Rev. Canniff-Kuhn is Co-Program Director with his wife, Rev. Mary Canniff-Kuhn at Lutheridge in Arden, NC.

Liz Goebelbecker, presenter

This program will focus on NetworX, a program of the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry (GHCCM), which seeks to help those who live on the edges of poverty by teaching life skills that can help them make better choices and decisions for themselves and their families.

November 1
Larry Phillips, presenter

Larry Phillips is a former Associate Minister of First Baptist Church in Hickory (1973-81) and missionary in Peru (until 1999). He is currently an active member of the Board of Directors for Centro Latino and recently received certification from the U.S. Department of Justice as an accredited Immigration Representative. This presentation will focus on immigration issues and how Centro Latino’s Immigration Services program assists Latinos in Catawba County.
