Karen Kahill has been with Holy Trinity since April 1991. In addition to serving as secretary for Pastor Shoffner and Minister of Youth and Families, she also serves as wedding coordinator and is in charge of keeping membership records, preparing council mailings, and handling all calls for financial assistance from the community. A Hickory native, Karen attended Hickory High School and Catawba Valley Community College. She and her husband Wayne have two married daughters and four grandchildren. They are members of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover, where Karen works in the Children’s Sunday School department. “I feel like Holy Trinity is my church, too,” Karen says, adding that she loves working with the people and has many friends at Holy Trinity. In her spare time, Karen enjoys reading, cooking, walking, and spending time with her family.
